Meet Our Team
CEO
Ian Elwick
I’ve been the CEO of The Werks Group since the project started in 1992. Alongside this, I have worked on other exciting projects including consultancy projects, regeneration, design, and some extremely effective business support. I’m a trained woodcarver and I keep fit by walking, running, and doing yoga. I also recently edged towards a veggie diet which keeps my family amused!
CCO
Martin Bouette
I am passionate about developing and offering great work environments for all our clients, as a designer and researcher in creative entrepreneurship. I have set up and run start-up, regeneration, and consultancy projects as well as writing business courses for Universities. In my free time, I like to go sailing, spend time walking my dog along the South Downs, or getting muddy on my mountain bike.
Site Manager
Louise Seedhouse
I have been with The Werks Group since starting out as a receptionist back in 2014. I regularly travel between Brighton & Hove visiting all of our sites and love catching up with clients. What I love about the job is that no 2 days are the same and I am regularly kept on my toes! My love for music keeps me young at heart and I love to go see live bands, from Queens of the Stone Age to Corrine Bailey Rae.
Maintenance Manager
Andy Frape
With over 30 years in the building industry, there is nothing that I cannot build, fix or put back together. I have been part of the company since it started back in 1992, having to deal with times where we had very stretched budgets. With a passion for a cup of tea and a football discussion, I love my work because our clients appreciate all that we do for them.
Administration Coordinator
Laura Colamonaco
I’m an artist who is currently studying at Northbrook College to become a Theatre Set Designer! I work part-time at The Werks in Hove where I love chatting and having a joke with our wonderful clients. I am very playful, love rock music and enjoy socialising with our amazing community of creative minds - often in one of the fabulous local pubs!
Accounts
Fatma Sivyer
Based over at our Pier Werks building, I love how the company is like a second home to me - it makes it enjoyable coming into work in the morning! Being based in the centre of Brighton allows me to feel like a part of the city and I love to be involved in different local social events that are taking place. I also love to travel and experience different cultures!
Reception + Barista
Travis Powers
As a barista at the Middle Street café, I love to network with the creative people around me and I take pride in good customer and coffee service! My career aspiration is to pursue music full-time within the band Gnarlah and in my downtime, you'll find me at gigs or at the bar with a pint.
Social Media
Meg Carnie
My role is managing social media platforms & covering reception. I joined as a client of the Werks Group back in Nov 2019 with my own business 'South Lanes Studios'. With a MA in Popular Music Practice with Entrepreneurship, I have a passion for networking with creatives. In my downtime, you'll find me at a live music event or on the beach with friends!
IT & Tech Support
Kev Williams
I'm the CEO and owner of KJW Limited with 20 years experience in the industry. We are an IT and networking company designed to provide all your infrastructure requirements. I manage and maintain the infrastructure at all ‘The Werks Group’ sites. In my personal time, I love to juggle and keep fit by running.
